Tributes to teenager with ‘cheeky smile’ killed with machete in road

Family and friends of a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed to demise with a machete on the street have paid tribute to him.

The teenager, named domestically as Harley, was attacked on Kings Mill Lane in Aspley, Huddersfield, early on Monday morning.

To date, police have arrested six folks in reference to his demise.

Harley has been described on-line as a much-loved son, cousin and nephew who had a ‘beautiful smile’.

Brett Whitehead, Harley’s cousin, instructed YorkshireLive: ‘He’s a great child with probably the most respect anybody might have – if you happen to did good by him he did greater than good by you.

‘He had manners, he was simply getting himself heading in the right direction and was taken means too early.

‘He will forever be with us in our hearts and minds with his cheeky little smile spreading joy.’

Danny Stephenson, Harley’s uncle, wrote: ‘Relaxation simple now Harley uncle Dan loves you. It doesn’t matter what folks could say or consider this lad his coronary heart was at all times pure.

‘Keep being you up there with that beautiful smile.’
